In your read the Hattrick conferences you will note that to make money they recommend that you have a training regime and that you train playmaking.  Well, training really does pay off.  I just sold a mid fielder for $1.4m after buying him 9 months ago for $54k and just trained.  He was one of my guaranteed starters week in and week out.  Due to my training regime I have a few players who can step up and maintain the competitiveness of FC Kingsview.

 

 

The Weapon.  February has been the month of waiting.  Waiting for the "permit to acquire" from the police.  Without it you cannot legally purchase a fireman in Australia.  That meant a number of trips to various firearms dealers to sample what they had on offering for the small game hunter.

 

There are many rifle brands and models to choose from in a variety of price brackets.  Once you have decided you need to choose a caliber.

The off season is a time to rebuild and reflect on the season that was.  Finished 6th in my first season in Div 5 which was a reasonable performance, I won some games that statistically I probably shouldn't have and I lost the games where it was expected.  It certainly gives me a good feel for the improvement required to get into the top four where the money is.

 

The rebuild started with younger and higher skilled players such as a keeper and a striker.  The mistake (slightly) from last season was recruiting 30+ year old players in defence with only one increased skill level beyond my defenders at the time, that has meant when I go to upgrade now it will cost me more as the older players after a full season have lost skill and are not worth as much.

 

The best thing going for my team is the midfield training program.  All of my midfielders are young and have increased multiple skill levels and currently out of the original 6 trainees 5 are all still under 21 and the one who is 22 I am currently selling at a handy profit.  The midfield has been with me from the start and will provide the thrust for a better performance this season.
